It’s not just because of the coffee and brownies that I love her; she asks the difficult questions, she doesn’t let me off the hook when I need to stay on the hook. The bonus is she’s great company, funny, loving, serious, creative.
There are a lot of Pacificas on the road; they’re easy to spot kind of like a VW Bug, sort of. Whenever I see one it reminds me of her, even if it’s not gold. It reminds me of how much I miss her, not that there is ever a day when I forget. She’s not the only friend I have like this, she’s just the one who drives a Pacifica.
Deborah, DoMH!
Random Thought: I like the smell of dirt. It’s the end of harvest season right now and many of the fields are being plowed under which stirs up the dirt. That smell, makes me thinks of potatoes. Mmmmm. . . garlicky mashed potatoes.
